Finn Roger Abrahamsen

Production and Assembly

Finn Roger has been employed at Fosstech AS for almost 20 years!

​He has vocational school education followed by a machinist certificate, and previously worked for Tønsberg Presstøperi with the preparation of casting molds, straight from school at 18 years old until 1991 when he started at Flåtnes Elektro-Mek AS. He has also worked at Skagerak Energi AS/STÅLPROFIL AB with mast construction, half a year at University of South-Eastern Norway and Sandsje-Hvitsten AS.

Finn Roger is very focused on efficient work and has been able to streamline assembly processes with his own specially adapted tools. His's daily routine now involves everything from assembly and machining to various other tasks.

Tom Horntvedt

Senior Project Engineer

Tom Horntvedt has been a part of Fosstech AS since the beginning at Teie in 1997!
 
Tom began his career at a 3-year vocational school with "welding and sledgehammer", automotive, and then auto body repair, before furthering his education at Horten Engineering College. He previously worked for 11 years at Holgers Ventilation (Holgers AS), dealing with exhaust systems for welding and sandblasting. When Tom started at Fosstech, he conducted training for engineers at Kongsberg Offshore (TechnipFMC) and then continued on projects, giving him extensive knowledge in 3D modeling and construction (CAD).

Tom's daily routine now involves project management, email correspondence, customer follow-up, task delegation, and organizing meetings. He primarily works with embedded products, including different sensors and a small node equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth, battery, and inductive charger for the seismic industry.
