Delivery of LED lighting to Øvre Sund Bridge

Fosstech has delivered a new custom LED lighting solution for Øvre Sund Bridge in Drammen, in cooperation with Traftec.

The delivery followed problems with the previous lighting installation. After two years of extensive testing, Fosstech's solution was selected for the bridge, with a focus on reliability, durability and performance in demanding outdoor conditions.

For the project, Fosstech developed and manufactured five-metre encapsulated LED light strips and dedicated driver boxes designed for long-term use. The solution draws on Fosstech's experience in LED technology, electronics development and encapsulation, helping protect critical components against moisture, low temperatures and the harsh conditions associated with road and bridge environments.

The delivery is another example of Fosstech developing custom electronic and LED solutions for demanding environments, where operational reliability and long service life are essential.
