Fosstech welcomes Oddbjørn Bergem as new CEO

Fosstech announces that Oddbjørn Bergem has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Simultaneously, the company's founder, Steven Foss, will transition into a key role as Business Development Manager, where he will contribute to identifying and developing new growth opportunities for the company.

Oddbjørn Bergem has over three decades of experience at the intersection of technology, innovation, and leadership – both in Norway and internationally. He has extensive experience in building and professionalizing companies and has been a driving force in developing businesses into leading players in demanding global technology, industry, and software markets.

He holds a PhD in Information Technology and Automation from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), as well as an MBA from Hult Ashridge Executive Education in London. This combination of a solid academic background and extensive leadership experience leaves him well-equipped to lead Fosstech into a new phase of growth.

Steven Foss, who founded Fosstech in 1997, has been the driving force behind the company's evolution from a local mechanical workshop into a technology company with customers in demanding sectors such as maritime, defense, infrastructure, and health technology. In his new role as Business Development Manager, he will play a central part in further developing the company’s market position.
