Fosstech’s contribution
Within the HullSkater project— a system developed for Jotun to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by keeping ship hulls free from biofouling—Fosstech has been involved from an early stage. The work includes the production of complete control cabinets, cables, and mechanical assemblies, as well as molding connectors onto umbilical cables used in the robotic solution itself. Fosstech also handles anchoring of the tether cable and supplies components that form part of the system’s electromechanical architecture.
