Fosstech delivered a custom electrical test cable for a TechnipFMC subsea chemical pump, combining cable assembly with mechanical components designed specifically for the application.
Following an inspection of the pressure tank, Fosstech's engineering department designed the necessary mechanical components to accommodate the cable installation.
These components were machined by local production partner PREFAB, while Fosstech carried out the electrical cable assembly and installation on the pump.
The project brought together mechanical design, precision machining and electrical assembly to deliver a solution tailored to the customer's specifications.
The TechnipFMC project demonstrates Fosstech's ability to adapt electrical cable assemblies to specific equipment requirements, supported by mechanical engineering and collaboration with specialist production partners.
